Club Awards for 2011

Each year, the Club host an Awards evening where a number of trophies and awards are presented, as well has certificates awarded to BSAC Diving levels reached. This year was no exception, and the awards evening was held at the Irish Club on 1dt February 2012. Some of the award winners are shown below.

Three Sports Diver Certificates were presented to Paul Daniels, Owen Brown and Kimberly Dawson.

The photography competition was judged on 3 categories, they were British Waters, Foreign Waters and Above Water (but diving related). Entries were submitted on the evening and displayed for club members to vote.

Wettest Diver No Photo of winner Winner - Nick Pain

Most Improved Diver Winner - Owen Brown

The Wettest Diver Award went to Nick Pain, who had completed 53 dives during 2011. Owen Brown was presented with the Most Improved Diver for 2011 overcoming injury to his knees but continued diving and attending a number of dive weekends (and he didn't moan once - NOT!)

Dolphin Trophy Winner - Owen Brown

Rose Bowl Trophy Winner - Paul Daniels

Owen Brown won the coveted Dolphin Award for services rendered. Paul Daniels was presented with the Rose Bowl for his contribution to the Club.
