The Committee:
The club is run by its members for its members, not for profit.
To make it happen, the club has a committee of volunteers responsible for managing the club, its finances, membership, training, equipment, social events, and more. Elections to the committee are held at the Annual General Meeting each January.
The committee typically meets once a month and non-committee members are free to come along and contribute. You don't have to wait until then though, as many of the committee are around on club nights (Wednesdays), so if you have a question, just ask.
Being on the committee is a great way in which to play an active part in the running of the club and meet other members.
