Enjoy an exciting evening and learning all about snorkelling for fun.

It is aimed to teach you snorkelling techniques and help you gain confidence so that when you go away on holiday you will be able to enjoy looking at the wonders that the sea has to offer. 

Upon arrival you will be met by your very own individual instructor who will be your 1 to 1 guide for the entire evening.

The instructor will take you through the equipment used and will make sure you have everything required for an exciting session in the pool. 

For the pool you will need a £1 coin for the lockers, a towel and your swimming outfit. 

After preparing the equipment, it’s then time to head across to the Pool at Newbold Comyn to be ready to enter the water for 8pm.

We have half of the pool booked out for club use, so this gives us plenty of room to explore. 

For the next hour you will spend your time learning about the sport and seeing just how much fun it can be gliding along the surface of the water and peering down to the bottom of the pool.

Next time it could be a nice warm beach area with a whole world of colourful fish and marine life below you.

We will show you the how the equipment is used correctly, how to breathe when snorkelling and depending on your ability will show you how to use your equipment to explore further and begin to free dive under the water.

Our aim is to ensure you are confident, comfortable and have fun when you next go snorkelling no matter what experience level you have. 

It’s an experience that you will enjoy and who knows, you may be hooked and want to come back to try scuba diving. 

Once your pool session is finished it’s time to pack up the gear and head back to the clubhouse to return the equipment and for a debrief finishing around 9:30pm.

At the end of the night, you will be given a certificate for your experience and should you wish to pursue any further the team will be happy to help out with any advice.
